Our efforts continue with our first annual “Raise a Glass to Cure Type 1 Diabetes” fundraising event. On Saturday July 26, 2014 Craig and Bryn da Luz will host the event at their residence. The event will have auction baskets, raffle items, and plenty of libations to get everyone in the mood to open their wallets and their hearts. Earlier in the year we held a lemonade / crystal light sale and 50/50 raffle which raised a little over $800 for Madeira’s Mighty Marchers. We are embarking on a new adventure with this event and are hopefully we will raise more money to help turn Type 1 into Type NONE!
